Course overview

Primary care doctors and other healthcare providers need to stay on top of recent advances in clinical cardiology to deliver optimal care for patients diagnosed with heart disease. This course gives an overview of the latest advances and best practices in cardiovascular medicine.

Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

• Explain the latest developments in the treatment of heart failure.

• Understand the importance of the microvascular system of the heart.
